"JoniSong" was written - specifically for a friend and first sung at her wedding; also for a group of friends - but also in acknowledgement of Change, and how its prospect may terrify, yet it needn't 'leave us behind'; that we can change together and anticipate all that we don't know with joy, whilst nonetheless taking the time to salute the unique quality of (especially) teenage friendships and how they meant something special and held an unrivaled place in the heart before we met our 'significant others'... It is one of the most enjoyable songs to sing. Very full journey every time round.
