It totally comes from a place of affection; that kind of affection you might feel when you see all the affectations of your acquaintances and/or friends, know something about where they're coming from from personal experience, probably think they're a bit silly, and realize that it changes nothing in you, because you're already completely sold on them. Because they're alive. Because they're trying. Because they're divine.
