This was my first album and it's damn good. Before recording it with a mighty fine jazz band there were years of solo gigging, collaborations with electronika, house and dub djs, writing children's music, singing lead in an all-girl grunge-punk band, taking the bass line in 4 part acapella harmonies, making medieval music at school and singing along to Kate Bush and David Bowie vinyls in the dark
